What does the therapy look like?

The therapy will be individualized for your child or family member. We use a combination of evidence-based teaching principles within the scope of ABA. Our goal is to be as naturalistic as possible; however, some individuals require more structured treatment approaches. All of our staff have been trained in the principles of ABA and have undergone extensive background checks.

Our staff includes BCBA’s and RBT’s. Below is a description of these staff members and their responsibilities.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating tailored ABA Therapy for our clients. They lead the development of personalized plans highlighting each child's unique strengths and challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating individualized ABA Therapy plans tailored to each child's needs

  • Overseeing therapy sessions, providing support and guidance in ABA to both Behavior Technicians and client parents

  • Conducting behavioral assessments to establish baselines and monitor progress

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavioral Technicians (BTs) provide individualized support to children with autism, implementing techniques that assist them in managing daily activities. Each Behavior Technician receives training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, a method that simplifies processes and behaviors into manageable steps. Their responsibilities include:

  • Delivering one-on-one ABA Therapy to children with autism

  • Utilizing ABA techniques to enhance each child's communication, emotional responses, learning, processing, and social skills

  • Maintaining digital records of each child's daily progress

Where does therapy take place?

Therapy occurs in our clinic, at home, or your child’s school. All of our Technicians have been trained in the principles of ABA and have been put through extensive background checks.

How many hours will my child or family member have?

Every individual is assessed as to where they are at in their diagnosis and skill set, and hour recommendations are made based on skill deficits, skill strengths, and which parts of life the individual needs support with. Individuals can typically receive a recommendation anywhere from 8 hours a week to 40 hours a week.
